Integrated quality and eco-management
High level of safety through quality products, sparing, sustainable use of natural resources and high customer satisfaction are some of the corporate principles of Vossloh Fastening Systems. For this reason, the topics of quality assurance and environmental management both enjoy special prominence. Application, compliance with and monitoring of the strict criteria are ensured through a norm-complying, certified quality and eco-management system.To maintain our products at a high quality level continuously, Vossloh Fastening Systems applies a number of integrated activities. This includes the planned training and further education of all employees and also extends to preventive quality measures and plans, complete documentation and clear definition of responsibilities. The basis is the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and DB Q1 certified quality and eco-management systems. The quality produced is verified by modern production equipment, computer-controlled test rigs and high-precision measuring instruments, fully equipped modern laboratories and testing and measuring equipment for field application. Inspection and test series are carried out according to all common international standards and comply with the customer’s specifications.
Vossloh`s environmental management system is based on an equally holistic concept that is implemented in pursuit of clearly defined environmental goals. Clear regulations define which measures to initiate and how to monitor them. For this, Vossloh commissions trained personnel and agents and cooperates closely with the competent authorities.
The environmental management system covers everything from ecologically compatible production right up to logistics and covers, for instance, waste disposal, water supply and disposal, exhaust air, noise, energy, packaging, storage and transportation. Of course, this includes emergency prevention and plans for emergency situations to be prepared for the worst. Our products are environmentally sound, do not pollute the ground water and can be recycled. These features are already included at the design stage.
All sites of Vossloh Fastening Systems have introduced and apply an integrated quality and eco-management system according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These systems are managed and controlled centrally from Werdohl. At present, the sites in Germany (Werdohl), Poland (Nowe Skalmierzyce), China (Kunshan) and Turkey (Erzincan) are included.
